This project takes the footage from the 90s series Sabrina:The Teenage Witch, to build a new series of 8 videos by narrating a fan-fiction depar- ting from the original footage.This fan-fiction takes the reiterative scenes in which the series uses the aesthetic of the Cuban Revolution (to illustrate authoritarianism) to narrate the story of a failed left guerrilla movement in the US led by women.This fiction integrates the story of different guerrillas across the Americas, trying to provide context to their existence, while also being critical of them.The project is an effort to explore (and to imagine other past, or future) the traumatic history between the left in Latin America and the US Government during the 70s and 80s.
